Seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a growing private investment and management firm with deep expertise in real estate, finance, and private equity investments.
What We're Looking For
- Real estate accounting experience is required.
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- Hands-on accounts payable experience.
- Advanced Excel skills, including spreadsheets and formulas.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly bank and investment account reconciliations.
- Post recurring journal entries and provide general ledger support.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Maintain vendor records and ensure W-9 compliance.
- Allocate credit card transactions and post entries in Yardi.
- Assist with partner distributions, capital calls, and reporting.
- Support project accounting functions, including invoice processing, construction draws, job cost tracking, and contract administration.
